Carers Required - Night shift 2 nights per week. SVQ 2 in Health and Social Care required or be willing to work towards this qualification. To provide personal care for 30 residents working as part of our team of Carers. Ability to follow instructions and able to complete paperwork as required. Complete mandatory in house training provided by St Mary’s and willing to undertake e-learning.
Relief Senior Care Officer - Part time 2 days per week on a rota basis. SVQ 3 in Health and Social Care required, or SVQ 2 and willing to work towards SVQ 3. Responsible to Care Home Manager. To take charge of a 30 bedded residential care home. To supervise staff and able to communicate with incoming professionals, dispense drugs and keep paperwork up to date as required. Rate of pay dependent on qualifications.
It is essential that you are registered or be willing to register with the SSSC for these positions.
Cook Assistant - Part time including holiday cover. Working on a rota basis with Head Cook. Duties to include but not restricted to preparation, cooking and serving of food within the strict guidelines of the Cooksafe Food Safety Assurance System. This will include preparation of menus, portion control, control of hygiene, health and safety and working within a set budget. Keeping strict stock control records – ordering supplies when required, checking deliveries, and maintaining stock records. Ensuring a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness of the kitchen, store and all catering equipment. Rate of Pay £8.50 per hour.
Kitchen Assistant. Part time. 4 days on, 4 days off. On a rota with 3 other assistants. Hours either 7.30am to 1.30pm or 1.30pm to 7.30pm. Hourly Rate £7.85. 6 hour shift with 5.5 hours payment.
Duties to include but not restricted to
· Cook breakfast items as required by the residents
· To ensure that the dining area is clean at all times.
· To assist the chef in serving up meals.
· To prep vegetables as required.
· To ensure that all kitchen equipment and kitchen areas are cleaned according to cleaning schedules.
· To ensure that company Health & Safety Regulations are adhered to.
· To ensure correct storage of all dry and perishable goods.
· To ensure the correct, safe storage of cleaning materials.
· To ensure that all pots, pans, cooking utensils are cleaned to the required standards and correctly stored after cleaning.
· Carry out any other reasonable instructions given by The Chef/Home Manager
All positions require a PVG check before taking up employment in St Mary’s.
